Where can I find the list of LQ 45 stocks?
To find the list of LQ 45 Stocks, you can login to the IDX website at www.bei.co.id, and at the bottom right of the homepage, you will find the 'Stock List' menu. Click on the 'LQ 45' menu, where you can find the list of stocks included in the LQ 45.
What is LQ 45 and what are its criterias?
LQ 45 is an index that consists of 45 chosen stocks with high liquidity and strong market capitalization.
To be included in the LQ 45 index, a stock must fulfill the criteria below:
- Included in the top 60 highest total transactions value in regular market for the
last 12 months.
- Included in the top 60 highest market capitalization value for the last 12 months
- Have been listed in the IDX for at least 3 months.
- Have a good financial condition, prospect of growth, high frequency and total number of
transactions in the regular market.

What is pre-opening and which stocks are included in it?
Pre-opening is a process of price forming started before the first session of the trading begins. The purpose of pre-opening is to determine the opening price that suitable with the market condition. However, it does not mean that the closing price of the previous day will become the opening price of today.
To get the list stocks included in the pre-opening, you can login to IDX Website at www.bei.co.id, and at the bottom right of the homepage, you will find the 'Stock List' menu. Click on the 'Pre-Opening' menu.
B. Prospectus, Index Data and Stock Price
Where can I find prospectus of issuers for my research?
The prospectus of issuers can be found at the Capital Market References Center (CMRC) in The Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, 1st floor of the Second Tower, Jl. Jend. What is Stock Market Index? And where can I find it in the IDX website?
To learn about the Stock Index, just click on the 'Education' menu, and then choose the 'Stock Market Indices' submenu. It will give you complete information on Stock Market Indices.
You can find the Stock Market Index in our website through several ways:
- Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) graphic. You can observe today’s movement of JIC on the upper
left side of the website’s homepage.
- Indices Ticker. You can also observe the indices movement from the ticker on the top middle side
of the website.
- Historical Index per daily. You can download historical index price from 2004 by click-ing the
'Go to our Previous Website' icon on the right side of the homepage. Then choose Download >
Daily Data > Market_Indices. On that menu, you will find the historical market indices data from 2004.
How to calculate the Stock Market Index?
There are several methods used to calculate the index, such as: (1) by calculating the arithmetic mean of the stocks’ price included in the index members, (2) by calculating the geometric mean of individual stock index included in the index members, (3) by calculating the weighted average of the market value. Generally, all composite stock price index, including that in IDX, use the weighted average method of calculation.
Like other Index calculation in many bourses, the IDX uses the market value weighted average index. The basic formula of the index calculation is:

Index = ----------------------- x 100
Base Value
Market Value is the cumulative total of today’s stocks multiplied by today’s market price or known as the market capitalization. Base Value is the value counted based on initial price of each share or based on the price that have been adjusted if the issuer has done an activity that change the total number of stocks listed in the Exchange. Adjustment has to be made so that the index will truly reflects the stocks movement.
Where can I find the stocks price data in the IDX website?
There are several ways to see the stocks price in the IDX Website:
- Stock Price Ticker. You can observe the current price of all stocks from the moving ticker
located in the upper middle of the website's homepage.
- Daily Historical Stock Price Data. You can download the stock price data from year 2004
by click-ing the 'Go to our Previous Website' icon on the right side of IDX website's homepage.
After that, choose Download > Daily Data > Stock_Quotation. Another way to find the historical
stock price data of the last 30 days is through the 'quote search' menu located in the right side.
You just type in the stock code and press the 'search' button.
- Daily Historical Stock Price of LQ 45 and JII. You can download the stock price data of LQ 45 and
JII from year 2004 by click-ing the 'Go to our Previous Website' icon on the right side of IDX website's
homepage. After that, choose Download > Daily Data > List of LQ 45 Securities Quotation or
List of JII Securities Quotation.
C. Financial Report and Issuer’s Performance
How can I get the complete financial reports of the listed companies?
You can download the isuer’s financial reports by following the steps below:
- Click on the 'Issuer' menu
- Choose 'Financial Report'
- Choode 'Soft Copy of the Financial Report'
- Choose the year of the Report
- Choose the Period of the Report (Annual, Mid-Year, or Quarterly)
- Choose the Issuer (In alphabetical order).
Are there any brief financial reports of the listed companies in the IDX website?
You can see the brief financial report of the listed company by following the steps below:
- Click on the 'Issuer' menu
- Choose the 'Company Profile'
- Choose the Issuer (in alphabetical order)
- Click on the 'Performance Summary' menu. The file is in PDF format.
Does IDX website provide listed companies’ data that include their profiles, financial performances, and their stock performances in the secondary market?
Yes. You can see the listed companies’ brief performance by following the steps below::
- Click on the 'Issuer' menu
- Choose the 'Company Profile'
- Choose the Issuer (in alphabetical order)
- Click on the 'Performance Summary' menu. The file is in PDF format.

Where can I find information regarding the performance of each brokearage firms in the Website?
You could find the information regarding the performance of a a brokerage firm in our monthly statistic. Just go to the 'IDX Statistic' menu on the right side of our website, and choose 'Monthly'.
Where can I find the address of a listed company's branch offices?
To obtained the data, you can sent us a request through email to webmaster@ bei.co.id. Our team will send you the data you requested.

Where can I find the number of shares traded in the exchange?
The data on the number of shares traded in the exchange can be found in our previous website. Just click the 'Go To our Previous Website' icon on the right side of the homepage. Then choose Download > Daily Data > Stock Quotation. Choose the available file according to the period of time you are looking for.
Where can I find the list of stocks in the Main and Development Boards?
You can find the list of stocks listed in the Main and development Boards by click-ing the 'Go to our Previous Website' icon on the right side of the homepage. Then choose Download > Daily Data > List of Main Board Securities or List of Development Board Securities. Thhen select the date.

You could search for the data through our menu located in the right side of our website's homepage. Click the menu, type in the stock code, click all the options available, and choose the period you wish to review.
