You can download the isuer’s financial reports by following the steps below:

  • Click on the 'Listed Company' menu

  • Choose 'Financial and Annual Report’ menu

  • Input Issuer Code > Choose the Year > Choose period of the report, yearly, middle year, quarterly

Q2 I'm doing research on some Listed Companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Does IDX website provide listed companies’ data that include their profiles, financial performances, and their stock performances in the secondary market?

Q12 What is Stock Market Index? And where can I find it in the IDX website?
Answer:

To learn about the Stock Index, just click on the menu Information > For Investor > Index. It will give you complete information on Stock Market Indices. You can find the Stock Market Index in our website through several ways:

  • Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) graphic. You can observe today’s movement of JIC on the upper left side of the website’s homepage.

  • Indices Ticker. You can also observe the indices movement from the ticker on the top middle side of the website.

  • Historical Index per daily. You can download historical index price by click-ing the menu Market Information > Market Index

Q13 What is pre-opening and which stocks are included in it?
Answer:

Pre-opening is a process of price forming started before the first session of the trading begins. The purpose of pre-opening is to determine the opening price that suitable with the market condition. However, it does not mean that the closing price of the previous day will become the opening price of today.

To get the list stocks included in the pre-opening can be found at our website, in the menu Market Information > List of Securities > Pre-Opening Stocks.

Q14 What is JII Index and what are its criteria’s?
Answer:

Jakarta Islamic Index, or commonly abbreviated as JII an index comprising 30 stocks that accommodate investment in the Islamic Sharia, or an index that is based on Islamic Sharia. In other words, this index included stocks that meet the criteria for investment in Islamic Law. Stocks included in the Sharia Index are the issuers whose operations are not contrary to the principles such as:

  • Business and gambling games or gambling is considered a prohibited trade.

  • Conventional financial institutions (ribawi) including conventional banking and insurance.

  • Businesses that produce distribute and trade food and drink that are haram

  • Businesses that produce distribute and / or provide goods and services that destroy the moral and harmful. To get the list, please go to IDX website www.idx.co.id, in the menu Market Information > List of Securities > Index Constituent, where you will get a list of stocks included in the JII.

Q15 I’m doing a research on some of the Issuer and I need prospectus. Where can I find prospectus of issuers for my research?

Data Corporate Action of a listed company can be obtained in the menu Listed Companies > Listing Activity/Announcement. Q19 I am an equity investor and needs the data of margin stocks, please help me to get the data
Answer:

The data can be obtained at IDX Website www.idx.co.id , in the menu Market Information > List of Securities> Margin Stock.

 

Q20 What is LQ 45 and what are its criterias?
Answer:

LQ 45 is an index that consists of 45 chosen stocks with high liquidity and strong market capitalization.

To be included in the LQ 45 index, a stock must fulfill the criteria below:

  • Has been listed in the IDX for at least 3 months.

  • Transaction activity in the regular market such as value, volume and frequency of transactions.

  • The number of trading days in the regular market.

  • Market capitalization at a specific time period.

  • Besides considering the liquidity criteria and market capitalization above, the company’s financial condition and prospects of the company's growth will also be taken into account.

Q21 Where can I find the list of LQ 45 stocks? a
Answer:

To find the list of LQ 45 Stocks, you can login to the IDX website at www.idx.co.id , in he menu Market Information > List of Securities > Index Constituent , where you can find the list of stocks included in the LQ 45.

 

Q22 What is Index KOMPAS 100 and what are its criteria’s?
Answer:

KOMPAS100 Index is a stock price index created by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in cooperation with the KOMPAS Daily. The index consists of 100 stocks chosen based on the following criteria:

  • The stocks should have been listed in IDX for at least 3 months

  • The stocks are included in the calculation of Jakarta Composite Index

  • IDX may determine whether to exclude the stocks from the list of 100 stocks in the index by considering the company’s fundamental factors and trading pattern in the stock exchange

  • The stocks should be in the list of 150 stocks with highest transaction value, frequency, and market capitalization in the regular market for the last 12 months

  • From the list of 150 stocks above, IDX will select 60 stocks with highest transaction value

  • Forty (40) more stocks will be selected from the 90 stocks left from the list of 150 stocks above through the process below: i. From 90 stocks left in the list, 75 stocks will be chosen based on their number of transaction day in the regular market ii. From the 75 stocks above, 60 stocks will be selected based on their transaction frequency in the regular market iii. The list of 60 stocks will then be shortened to 40 stocks based on their market capitalization

  • The final list of 100 stocks in the KOMPAS100 index is obtained by adding the number of 60 stocks selected in point (5) and the 40 stocks chosen in point (6) above. The list of stocks in the KOMPAS100 Index will be updated every 6 months, i.e. every February and August. The base date used in the calculation of KOMPAS100 Index is 2 January 2002, with 100 as its base value.

Q23 How to calculate the Stock Market Index?
Answer:

There are several methods used to calculate the index, such as:

  • by calculating the arithmetic mean of the stocks’ price included in the index members,

  • by calculating the geometric mean of individual stock index included in the index members,

  • by calculating the weighted average of the market value. Generally, all composite stock price index, including that in IDX, use the weighted average method of calculation.

Like other Index calculation in many bourses, the IDX uses the market value weighted average index. The basic formula of the index calculation is: Market Value Index = ----------------------- x 100 Base Value Market Value is the cumulative total of today’s stocks multiplied by today’s market price or known as the market capitalization. Base Value is the value counted based on initial price of each share or based on the price that have been adjusted if the issuer has done an activity that change the total number of stocks listed in the Exchange. Adjustment has to be made so that the index will truly reflects the stocks movement.

Q24 Where can I find the stocks price data in the IDX website?
Answer:

There are several ways to see the stocks price in the IDX Website:

  • Stock Price Ticker. You can observe the current price of all stocks from the moving ticker located in the upper middle of the website's homepage.

  • Daily Historical Stock Price Data. You can download the stock price data from year 2004 by click-ing the menu Data Download > Summarry > Stock Summary > Choose the date > Choose type of Data [Value, Volume, Frequency, etc ]

  • Daily Historical Stock Price of LQ 45 and JII. You can download the stock price data of LQ 45 and JII by click-ing the menu Data Download > Summary > Index Summary '

Answer:

To get the list of stocks in the main dan development boards can be found in the menu Market Information > List of Securities > Stock, then choose in column [Boards] – Main Board / Development Board, then click Search
